Scrap conveyors from KÖBO ECO>PROCESS GmbH

The Köbo Eco Process scrap conveyor is a hinged belt conveyor (SBF) with a particularly robust design.
Scrap conveyors are usually wider than our standard SBF due to the application.

Structure
  • Standardized conveyor cross-sections with variable usable width
  • Special conveyor chains with rollers or flanged rollers
  • Horizontal or ascending design
  • Drive via shaft-mounted geared motor or geared motor with flange coupling
  • Transfer via slide or floor opening
  • Floor or ceiling mounting possible
  • Material is transported via hinged plates that are moved by a conveyor chain
  • Hinge plates consist of individual metal plates that are flexibly assembled using chain rods
  • Hinged plates connected via two external chain strands
  • The conveyor chains are driven by a chain sprocket
  • Conveying speed continuously or continuously adjustable via a frequency converter
  • Conveying speed infinitely adjustable via a frequency converter
  • As a single conveyor or as a complex conveyor system Transport of:
  • Punching waste, such as sheet metal, press scrap,...
  • Recycling scrap e.g. scissor waste or bulky waste
  • Trimming scrap
  • Other large scrap parts
  • Easy / simple and cost-saving maintenance
  • Support plates freely accessible after removing the cover, making maintenance easier and saving costs
  • Robust design / robust construction made of solid components
  • Reinforced designs are possible for particularly heavy-duty applications
  • Conveyed material: Sheet metal scrap and coarse punching waste
  • Width/usable width [mm]: 600-1500 (also wider on request)
  • Length [m]: max. 100 per sponsor
  • Gradient angle up to 35°, steeper possible if necessary
  • Hinge plates have sheet thicknesses of 5 - 8 mm (individually also available in greater sheet thicknesses)
  • Hinge plate spacings are generally: 125, 160 and 250 mm
